Home made Liquid Limestone

Postby Vic on Mon Apr 06, 2009 7:05 pm

I wish to make a cobblestone path using home manufactured liquid limestone in a mould. Can anyone advise on the composition of crushed limestone and cream cement normally used, and can I mix in yellow sand to bulk up the mix. :?: :?: :?:

re faux limestone

Hi,
We have some customers making faux limestone incorporating crushed limestone as an aggregate with white cement and getting good results. If you don't have access to limestone try using one of the popular fillers such as Omycarb 40 or powdered marble chips or slate powder to get the effect you are looking for. Stan
